I know we are technically still in winter, but the bit of warmer weather this week, accompanied with vacation planning has me feeling all the spring vibes. After living in sweats and inside all winter, I’m itching to get out under the warm sun and fresh air, and putting together boy’s outfits again! So with that being said, packing and shopping are on my to do list for the next two weeks, and I cant help but to have all the heart eyes for what is out for boy’s spring fashion right now. I’ve put a list together of all my favorite trends, as well as little shopping guides for you all. Click on the images below for direct links to each item.
Bold and Vibrant Colors
Bold and vibrant colors are really in right now. I love this because we are not used to seeing this much color for boys, so this is a good change.
Stripes, Tie Dye and Geometric Patterns
Geometric patterns are back this year! Also stripes, especially bold stripes are really in as well as tie dye prints. I have never been a big fan of tie dye, but the way it’s designed, it actually looks cute and trendy.
Washed and distressed Jeans
Distress jeans continue to be my all time favorite so I’m glad they are still going strong. I’m also excited to experiment a little with wash denim. If you have not read my tutorial on how I make my boy’s distress jeans, read here.
Camo, and animal print, and earthy colors oh my!
Linen, Chambray and Woven Cotton
Can I just say how much I am loving this look! This is especially cute for dressing up, and I love the cool and thin fabrics for those warmer days.
3D Badges and Embroidery
Although I am not the biggest fan of this trend, it is playful and fun. You can even purchase 3D badges and play around with the look.
Yes, you read that right! As crazy as it sounds, Hawaiian shirts seem to be in this spring in men’s spring fashion, and it has spilled over to the boys spring fashion as well!
I actually really like this look, more than the embroidery look at least. There aren’t as many options right now, but I have a feeling we are going to see more of this in the summer.
The classic graphic tees are here to stay! My boys have outgrown almost all of their tees so I am beginning to update their wardrobe with new ones. What I really like about this season, is that they are adding more in season, trend and color tees, where as it use to mainly be black and white tees.

Target’s Art Class Spring 2018
Now I could not end this post without first mentioning Target’s Art Class spring collection for big boys (size 4-16). Can I just say how much I love this line at Target. They have the cutest and trendy, skater boy inspired clothes, season after season. For spring, I love how they combined the classic black and white look with pastel colors and tye dye.
